A positive environmental impact
Ecolabel
A standard recognized by all European Union countries since 1992, the European Ecolabel promotes the use of products (especially household appliances) that have a positive impact on the environment.
Low energy consumption, low impact on natural habitats and their resources, exclusion of polluting or toxic substances… certification is only awarded to products that meet rigorous environmental quality and performance requirements.
The environmental label
Supported by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME), the environmental label is a rating system designed to quantify and verify an establishment’s carbon footprint, water and energy consumption, and the quantity of organic and eco-labeled products used on site.
Used in both the automotive and household appliance industries, the environmental label assigns a grade (A, B, C, D, E) to qualify the energy and environmental performance of a product or facility.
